Introduction to Digital Photography Coursework


I love nature, and my favorite part of taking an introductory photography course was the ability to capture the beauty of flowers, trees, or the pure light of a sunny day. I learned the importance of composition, and how placement within a frame is vital in creating an intriguing and aesthetically pleasing photograph.

We see pictures of animals everywhere, my dog is my favorite subject because he is expressive in ways that people often aren't. I chose to set-up this shot, because I wanted to capture how serene he appeared. A photograph freezes time, and captures perfect moments. My biggest joy of learning the basic elements of photography was how to make those moments appear more realistic when captured.

INTRODUCTION: Throughout American history weddings have been an integral part of our cultural experience, however women have always received the short end of the stick in these arrangements. It wasn’t long ago that women were expected to marry at a young age because the only jobs available were for men, so a single woman in America had no hope of being able to support herself unless she found a husband. Community Health Planning and Promotion Coursework

The Prevention Initiative The purpose of this course assignment was to create a health initiative that could realistically be implemented within the community. My group was assigned vaccinations as a current health issue that needed to be addressed, and through direct research and analysis we created a plan that would build trust between the general public and the medical community. My role within the group was to take the raw and secondary data and create a written report that was accessible to potential investors of our health initiative. At the end of the project we pitched our health program to our class and professor as potential investors, in order to gain feedback on the effectiveness of our sales skills as well as credibility.
